Azhano Mech is a committed theological educator, counsellor, and ministry leader serving as the Girls’ Supervisor and Lecturer in the Department of Pastoral Care in Counselling at the Berachah Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER). She holds a Master of Theology from India Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Nagaland Baptist College, and a Bachelor of Theology from Faith in Action Bible College.

With over five years of ministry experience, Azhano has actively served in children’s ministry, youth camps, and prayer tower outreach, combining pastoral care with theological insight. Her teaching focuses on nurturing spiritual and emotional growth, especially among young women preparing for Christian service.

Her academic interests lie in family counselling and community care, and she has contributed to scholarly work through her recent publication, “Fostering Unity: The Power of Diversity and Inclusion” in the AG Journal of Counseling.
