Program Description
Master of Divinity program is a Bible-based education designed for life transformation and service in society.
The program focuses on advanced learning of biblical ethos and practices, foundational theological understanding,
and missional leadership for social well-being.
Philosophy of Education
This program provides students with academic skills for an in-depth understanding of faith, history, and doctrine.
It equips students for advanced studies and enables them to contribute to social change through ministry,
organizations, and society in India and abroad.
Program Objectives
- Develop skills in analysis and exposition of the Word of God
- Provide tools for biblical interpretation
- Equip students for missional leadership

Program Requirements
Admission Requirements
Candidates must have completed a university course or equivalent. Preference is given to graduates; however,
students awaiting results may also apply, provided they submit proof of completion before the end of the first semester.
Graduation Requirements
In addition to completing all subjects, students must fulfill requirements through workshops, field education,
and holistic formation. These are evaluated under designated faculty supervision.
Workshop 1: Media & Communication
A 12-week program focused on digital learning and effective communication of the gospel. Includes practical assignments
and continuous assessment. Certification is awarded by Create Media School, Oellingen.
Workshop 2: Health Promotion & Awareness
A 15-day contact program within six months, combining theory and practical learning. Certification is awarded by
Christian Medical College, Vellore.
Workshop 3: Mission & Ministry
A 2-week workshop with mission experts focusing on practical ministry experience, group discussions, and presentations.
Participants receive certification upon completion.
Character Formation
Students are evaluated on discipline and character throughout the program. Assessment is conducted by the discipline
committee and contributes to final grading.
Spiritual Formation
Spiritual growth and godly living are evaluated by the Spiritual Affairs department. Final grades reflect cumulative
spiritual development across semesters.
Field Education 1: Evangelism Practical
A 2-month practical training in evangelism under faculty and pastoral supervision. Evaluation is based on field performance and reporting.
Field Education 2: Community & Social Involvement
Includes 15 days of community engagement within a 2-month field program, focusing on social impact and Christian service.
